How to buy units in Fondita's Funds?
1. Familiarize yourself with our funds
Fondita manages eight equity funds that invest in shares of publicly traded companies. All our funds follow the same investment philosophy based on stock picking but invest according to their respective strategies. Before investing, please familiarize yourself with the Key Investor Information Document, Prospectus and fund rules that can be found in the Funds section of this website.
2. A- or B-units?
Fondita offers return units (A-units) and growth units (B-units) in all our funds. Please observe that return units (A-units) are aimed primarily towards institutions and foundations. It is more favorable for most individuals to invest in growth units (B-units). The annual shareholders' meeting of the Fund Management Company decides on the payment of return which has normally been around 5 %. The sum of corresponding return on growth units is capitalized and the increase is fully realized upon redemption of fund units.
3. Buy fund units
Fondita’s funds are pre-paid funds. The desired amount is to be transferred to the respective fund’s subscription account. The account numbers are listed below. Both individuals and legal entities can invest in Fondita’s funds.
If you are an individual please provide the following details together with the payment:
- Social security number
If you are a legal entity please provide the following details together with the payment:
- Name of legal entity
- Business identity code
All payments received before 14:30 Finnish time (13:30 CET) will be calculated on the same valuation day. The Fund Management Company has the right to reject subscriptions if sufficient information has not been obtained. Subscription notes will be sent to the address provided.
4. Customer identification
The Fund Management Company has a legal obligation to identify its clients.
In order to identify our clients electronically we have implemented an online customer information form. The advantage with the online customer information form is the possibility to sign the form electronically with your personal bank codes. After the form has been signed electronically, it will automatically be sent to our system and we have reliably identified the client.
NOTE! Please read the instructions carefully before you fill in the online customer information form
Important instructions for filling in the online customer information form
Corporations and Institutions
If you fill in the customer information form for a company’s part, you should be authorized to sign on behalf of the company in order to electronically sign the form. This because the automatic identification process includes an examination of the company’s Trade Register Extract, to see if the signatory person holds the right to represent the company. In exceptional cases, e.g. if a person authorized by proxy holds the right to represent the company but the information can not be found in the Finnish Trade Register, the service will automatically request additional information. If this occurs, required documentation must be attached (e.g. Board minutes).
The online customer information form for minors cannot be signed electronically by a guardian through this service. In this case, we kindly ask you to fill in the customer information form in pdf-format, sign it by hand and send it to us. A valid ID copy of the minor and its guardian is also required.
No personal bank codes
In cases where the client can’t be identified by personal bank codes the substitute is to fill in the customer information form in pdf-format, sign it by hand and send it to us. A valid ID copy is also required.
Where do I send all documents?
The customer information forms and ID copies can be sent directly to our e-mail (email@example.com) or via post to our address (Aleksanterinkatu 48 A, 00100 Helsinki). To meet the requirements of the law, there may be situations where we ask for additional information for investigation before the customer relationship is initiated. In cases where customer identification cannot be guaranteed in accordance with the current regulations, the Fund Management Company holds the right to decline the initiation of a client relationship.
The customer information forms in pdf-format are found here:
